California trip!

This last week end we went to California for a little vacation. We got this pass that let us go everywhere. We had such a great time. It was also super nice to be able to hang out with all of Jaden's family. We stayed with his sister Kristen and her cute little family. We are so greatful to them and the hospitality that they showed us. We flew in on Friday and stayed until Wednesday. The flight there was pretty bad. We were delayed an hour and a half which was really bad for us because that meant we didn't even get there until 10:30. Poor little Kysa was soooo tired. When she gets soooo tired she gets super crabby and fights sleep! She finally fell asleep on the hour and a half drive to Kristen's house. The bad thing about that though was that when we got there we had to wake her up and get her ready for bed... well she got a second wind. Not so good. By time we got to Kristen's it was about 12 something and she didn't go back to sleep until 2:30! Very long night. The next morning we got up got ready and drove an hour to Universal Studios. We met Jesse, Kim, Keisha, and Brandon all there. Kristen and her family came too so that was great! We did some really fun rides! It was a pretty long day for Kysa though. All day it the sun + no nap = crabby little girl!! Poor Jaden's got sick on the last ride of the day (the new Simpsons ride). I think we were all glad that day was over. Then on the way home I got car sick and that made for a long night of not so good conversations with the toilet. So the first day was very eventful! LOL! Here are some pictures of our fun!

In the movie "War of the Worlds" there is a big plane crash... well here it is! It is a real plane that they totally ripped apart. It was pretty cool. Normally there aren't bodies hanging out of it but it is for Halloween.

Anyone that knows Jaden knows that his favorite tv show is the Simpsons so this was a pretty exciting place for him. This is just outside the famous Kwik-E-Mart. Jaden was in heaven.

No worries it isn't a beer it is an energy drink, LOL!

This is little Lucas, he didn't really like the shark so much so he just held its tooth. So cute!

Vacuum/Swimming fun

This was just a really funny picture so I had to put it on here. You may just glance at this and think... why would this picture be funny, it's more sweet then funny. Well the reason this is funny is because... I had just pulled the vacuum out of the closet and Kysa took off running to her dad. I have the loudest scariest vacuum ever! So I guess the picture is a little sad too. My vacuum is so loud it scares me! I can only vacuum when Jaden is home, LOL! I know I am a total pansy. One more thing about this picture... how cool is my hubby, he's doing the dishes! He is the best!!When I went down to Vegas this last time I bought this super cute pool. It is a lot like the one that my mom got. It was only $7, you can't pass up a deal like that!! We blew this up and Kysa loved it. The water was so cold. I felt bad but she didn't care. We kept bringing out buckets of hot water trying to warm it up for her. She still loved it. We couldn't even get her out of it even though she was shaking and her lips were turning purple.

It spouted water out of it's mouth and she just thought that was so fun. She was sad when we turned it off, But I think it was freezing her. LOL!

I've decided that I am really lucky because I have gotten to make a lot of trips to Henderson to see my parents and sister. It has been a lot of fun. My in-laws were going down to St. George for the weekend and asked me if we wanted a ride, and see if my parents would pick me up there. I am so glad my parents came to get me. I had a lot of fun down there with my parents and sister. My mom and I got a lot accomplished. It was a good and productive trip. Thanks mom and dad for letting me and Kysa come and thanks for driving all that way to come and get us. Love ya both tons!

Kysa loves to cook with me, so I put one of my aprons on her. She really likes it. It took a lot to get it to fit her. LOL!

Jaden's family had a reunion down it Redmond so we drove down there and Kysa had a really good time on the swings and blow up slide that they rented for all of the kids.

Jaden is such a good little daddy to take her on it. She was just too small to go alone.

My mom bought this little pool for all of the kids. My dad blew it up with his blower, thank goodness because my mom and I don't have enough air to. LOL! It had a slide and the slide had a tube thing that blew out water. The kids loved it.

On our drive home there was a huge fire on one of the mountains and it completely filled the air with smoke. The sun looked so cool through the clouds, it was a bright red. This picture doesn't show how cool it really looked though. It was so crazy because there was so much smoke that it made it dark like they were clouds, they even kind of looked like clouds.

My little Kysa slept 3 hours of the drive, so pretty much the whole time.

A few months update

I've decided that sometimes life just gets really busy. It's been a while since I updated but here it FINALLY is.

Before we went on the Shaw family camping trip we help Bill (Jaden's dad) set up his tents, so they can air out and just to get our tent setting up skills perfected. LOL! Kysa just thought that the tents were the best things to play in ever. She loved them! This is her just starring out of the tent at the sky.

Kristen and her family came up for the big camp trip. Keegan and Lucas had a lot of fun playing with Kysa, now that she doesn't just lay around. LOL! Bill and Kerri had like 3 apples on their tree this year and the boys had to pick them off. So here are the kids with their apples that they picked.

We got out or camping chairs because one of them had a broken leg, well Kysa got in it and it was so funny because she kept looking in the cup holders. She wasn't just looking though, she stuck her whole face in it.

Every year when we go camping with Jaden's family they go on a hike. I haven't ever been able to go until this year. I was so excited. It was so fun and it was such a nice day. This is the whole crew!

At the end of the hike there is a nice little lake. This is where we took our break and just enjoyed in the views.

Kysa loves to look at pictures of herself, so if you take her picture she expects to see it right after. This is Kerri showing her the pictures she had taken of her.

This picture made me sad because she looks so old! :( BUT she sure looks cute.

Jesse was holding Kysa while we watch a video and Kysa fell right to sleep on him. It was so cute.

We went down to Vegas again before my mom went back to work and we went to a water park in Boulder City. It was so fun and there wasn't hardly anyone there. Kysa loved to play with the guns that shot water, she isn't tall enough but that is what dad is for. LOL!

We all got some slurpees and Kenzie loved them. She drank so much, I was shocked. She really likes slurpees I guess.

Austin thought it was so fun to get people with the little water guns, and he got everyone at least once I think. LOL! Mindy got lucky, it goes off if you turn it too far around.

Kysa just loved to stand around in the water. She is so funny.

While we were down there we went to dinners at BJ's. It is probably my favorite pizza ever. They have other stuff but I just go there for the pizza. It is a little pricey sometimes but it is so worth the price I think. This is little Kenz.

After Kysa's bath last night she went and found her old bath tub because Jaden had pulled it out to get her bath toys out of it. She took and dragged it into the living room. I wasn't sure what she was going to do with it out here. I was really hoping that she was going to pick up all her toys and take them back to her room. No such luck though.

This was the real reason behind her bringing it out. She wanted her own little chair to watch tv in with her best friend, Kuddles.
