Getting ready for Halloween

Jaden and I went and picked out some pumpkins that we likes at our local grocery store and then did some carving. We went to a pumpkin patch with Britney, Jaron and Lexi but I am a little too picky and couldn't find one that I really liked. But I thought I would show you some of the things that we carved.

After we were all done carving our pumpkins we made pumpkin seeds. It was so much fun. That was a first for the both of us. We really enjoyed our pumpkin day!

Jaden did such a great job on his pumpkin! I wish that I would have taken the picture the day that we carved them because they are now starting to rot and so Homers face got a little droopy. It still looks great after a couple of hard days for him! He is so creative!

We did a little more carving today the night before Halloween so I thought I would add these pictures as well. Our pumpkin is Jack the pumpkin king, Keisha's is a bear and Bill and Kerri's is just one happy little pumpkin! A little more carving never hurt.

Our fun weekend

This last weekend Jaden's sister Kami and her family were in town and we went and had some fun with them. Jaden and I both did different things, Jaden hiked Timpinogos with his brother Jesse and his wife Kim, His brother in law Rick and his kids Zac, Megan, and Emilee. They all seemed to have a lot of fun.

While they all hiked I went and played at Thanksgiving point with Kami, Lexie, Karleah and her guy friend. Lexie's favorite thing to do while we were there was to ride the pony. We frosted sugar cookies, Rode on a hay ride and all got our faces painted with an orange pumpkin. We all had a really good time.

That night after all our out door adventures we all went to Jesse and Kim's house and played rock band. That is one fun game. I liked the drums and the guitar. I didn't even attempt the singing, no way!

Tomorrow I have another ultrasound and I am super excited. Kysa is now 19 weeks, I am excited to see how much she has grown in just a few weeks. I have yet to feel her but I know that it will be soon! She is still just about 6 inches long from crown to bum. I'll put her new pictures on as soon as I get a chance to. Until then.

The growing process!

Ok, so I was talking to Mindy last night and I promised that I would update my blog and put a picture of my growing baby bump... so just for you mind... here is my baby bump from month 1 to month 4. It's crazy how fast I am growing!

SO there is the transformation. maybe to you it doesn't seem that big of a difference but to me it is huge! It's kind of fun to see my belly grow... my baby is getting bigger too then! I am still waiting for the day that I feel her. I think maybe I am thinking about it to hard. I really can't wait!

I thought that I would show you how beautiful it is getting up here. All the leaves are changing and it is getting a bit colder. Jaden drove me up Little Cottonwood Canyon when we had the first snow of the season. I was stoked!

I don't know if you can see it but there is a little waterfall in the trees! SO beautiful! This is the bottom of the canyon so pretty much Sandy. Farther up was the snow! It looked so cool because all the trees are orange and yellow. We got about an inch or two. You can see it on the log at the bottom of the picture.

We are suppose to get snow in the valley tonight and I am super excited about it. My mother in law is not as excited. I am always excited about anythin weather wise falling from the sky, maybe not so much hale! that stuff can do a number on your car. Just ask my brother in law Jaron.

Well I have another ultrasound on the 24th so hopefully our baby will be even cuter by then. I am always excited to see my little Kysa! If I have any more fun news to report before that I will!
