General Conference and Park City

October has been a really fun month. I got to work conference. I love working at the conference center it is so great! The next weekend we went to Park City with Britney and Jaron and Alexis. We had a lot of fun! It was also Jaden's 26th birthday. So this has been a really fun and full month.

Kysa's puckering up. This is something new she does. I think it is pretty funny!
What a cute baby face.
Sleeping!
These are Jaden's nieces Megan and Emilee. I went and stayed up in Logan and watched them while their parents were on a cruise.

She has the prettiest blue eyes.
This was my view for conference!
We had a special guest, David Archileda.
In between sessions I took this picture of the stand.
The most amazing sound ever is the hush that is heard in the conference center when the prophet enters the main hall.
The 12 filing in.
The choir back stage waiting to go back on stage.
Watching everyone file in.
Peek a boo
My first attempt at an ice cream cake. Jaden's 26th birthday cake. There is a 25 on the cake because he put those on my 26th birthday cake. He really thought that we were turning 25. I had to reuse the candles and it was just funny.
This was the fireplace in the place we stayed in Park City.
This kitchen was awesome!
This Bath tub was huge.
Jaden and Kysa playing.
Alexis playing with her stroller.
Jaden and Kysa watching the LSU football game.
Britney, Alexis, Kysa, and me in the awesome bath tub with jets!

2 Years and counting!

September 15th was our 2 year anniversary! How fast those two years flew by. I have the best husband ever! He would do anything for me! He works and goes to school to give our family a better life. I love him more and more everyday! I am so lucky that I found him.

For our anniversary we went to Park City, the same place that we went for our honeymoon. The first night that we were there we had a two bedroom room and Britney, Jaron and Alexis came and stayed with us. We went shopping at the outlets and went swimming in the freezing cold. We really had a good time.
Lexi really liked my Freezer jam.
Jaden playing with Kysa.
Swimming in the warm pool! Poor Jaden had to take the picture all went and freezing!
We went and had lunch at Ruby Tuesdays.

We went on a walk with Kysa around Park City.

Trying to suck on her pacifier sideways.
Went to Cold Stone in the Freezing rain, it was a blast.
Loved that fireplace.
Kysa and I fell asleep after church, good times.

Kysa's first sippy. She did pretty good, she even lifted it to her own mouth.

Gave her some piggy tails! It looked super cute!
She really likes to watch dad do his homework. I think she wanted to help.
What her hair looked like after we took her pony tails out.
She loved having her back tickled! She stayed like that for quite some time. It was funny!

Labor Day weekend

Jaden and I went camping with his cousin Weston and his wife Lindsay and their two girls. We had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from our weekend.

This is a swim suit that Britney is letting us barrow for Kysa. So stinkin cute. That kind of chub only looks good on babies in swim suits.

This is Kysa being a lion, cutest lion I've ever seen. LOL!
Watching daddy do his homework.
I was caught taking her picture.
This is how I found her after she woke up from her nap. She doesn't wake up crying she wakes up playing.
Jaden roasting a slider (hotdog). Learned that term from his cousins.
Weston taking a nap.
Kysa just looking outside at the trees.
Lindsay and Addison.
Weston found a hollowed out log and put it on the fire standing up. This was what it looked like. I'd never seen anything quite like it.
Kysa and Jaden hanging out in the tent trailer.
Weston, and his mom and dad and brother making dinner.
Weston and Addison (9 months), Jonathan and Stratton (5 months), and Jaden and Kysa (6 months).
Kysa and Great Grandma Sheppard.
Kysa's bed.
Our camp.

Kysa and I, trying to stay warm by the fire.
Swayzee hanging out with us in the tent trailer. She just loves Jaden and wants to be where he is. It was so cute.
The road we had to drive on was so rough that I had to put this blanket around Kysa's head to keep it from bouncing all over the place. I didn't want her to shaken baby.
The Beautiful valley.
The road was so pretty!
Kysa taking her own picture! LOL! Ok not really but it sure looks like it.
Jaden, Swayzee, and Kysa looking at the baby cow.
While we were driving down the mountain smoke started to come out of our air vents! I hurried and yanked Kysa out of the Jeep so she wasn't breathing all that smoke in. Jaden went to pop the hood and when he touched the latch it burned his hand, so he took off his shirt to get it and it burned right through his shirt. All the wiring in the Jeep melted. One of the wires grounded and causes a fire down by the pedals. All the wires in the jeeps are melted. The jeep wouldn't start after all this (go figure) so they had to roll it down the mountain to a place that they could park it until we could get back up to tow it. We got down in Weston's truck and then Jaden and Weston took a trailer up and put the jeep on it and his dad hooked our tent trailer to his truck and brought everything down. We aren't sure if it is totaled or not. We haven't heard from the insurance yet. So we will just have to wait and see if we need a new car or if we can fix the Jeep. Here are some pictures of the damage.

My moms boss gave us this exersaucer for Kysa so we put it together a few days ago and she just loved it. It was fun to watch her play in it.

Look at those blue eyes.
Jaden's parents got Kysa this Bumbo. I am not sure if she likes it or if it's just something new to sit in. Well she looks cute in it so who cares.
So our weekend was so much fun! It ended a little poopy, but it was still a good time.
