It's finally warm!

I don't think that I am quite use to worrying about the sun so much. And as you can see by these pictures my poor little Kysa paid for her mommies dumb mistake. We went and did a commercial for the University Credit Union for my brother in law and I wasn't expecting to be in the sun for as long as we were. Well Kysa got fried and I felt awful!

If you can believe it these don't even show how bad it really was. It looked so much worse in person.

We were going down to my parents house for the Memorial day weekend and this is how Kysa rode. Sorry but this was just too funny not to put on here. LOL! If Kysa sees this when she is older she will hate me. LOL!

We stopped by the cemetery in Salina to see great grandma Sheppard while she was putting flowers on graves for the holiday.

A couple more Trial hair dos

I am trying new things on Kysa's hair all the time. Some times they turn out pretty cute and sometimes not so good. I'm surprised that any of them turn out, with the struggle I go through to get her to sit still for more than a second. It normally takes about 20-30 minutes to do one of these hair dos!! I chase her around the house and try anything I can think of to get her to sit still. She still isn't really into movies so they don't work. If any of you have any ideas on how I could get her to sit still that would be great! I guess as of right now I will just continue to chase her around the house and try to get her hair done. LOL!

I did this hair do farther down but I made a slight change to it. I think it turned out cuter this way. Thanks for the suggestion brit!

This is one of the hair dos that didn't turn out too good. Maybe with more hair and someone that sits still this would have looked better. It's not that great.

This one was kind of fun. Kysa's hair almost wasn't long enough, but I made it work.

This hair do had some funny inspiration, the night before I had a dream about stars, so this hair do just came to my mind and think it looks really cute!

These are two different ways I did it. The first one I just put a flower on the ponytail and the second one i put a ribbon on all the rubber bands. Which one do you like better?

Well how did I do with a moving target? LOL!

May birthdays!

Kerri always has a big dinner and kind of party for all the people with a birthday in that month. So a couple weeks ago we had a party for all the people with birthdays in May. Kerri bought us all our own cake of chose and had us all blow out our birthday candles.

I chose a normal cake but Kerri went all out and got me a snickers one! yummo!

Kim had a cheesecake!

We obviously have very different tastes when it comes to our birthday cakes. LOL! All three of us with our cards.

Softball

All the Shaw family got together and went and had a little family fun. Jesse is really good at softball and is on a team and stuff. One day we all got together for dinner at Bill and Kerri's and decided we would go and just hit some balls. It was a lot of fun. The guys were really good, Jaden surprised me when he batted and threw. I didn't know he was as good as he is.

This is what I did most of the time in the outfield. I wasn't very good at catching even though I tried really hard. Catching is definitely not my strongest area. LOL!

Jesse pitched the ball to everyone, we were all glad he pitched because no one else had the skills! Look at his crazy arm when he pitches!!

Keisha was the catcher most of the time. I think she had fun there.

Karleah and Kim were really funny. They mostly just watched the ball go over there heads or roll past their legs. They were great fun to watch!

a Twist

Tried this fun little twist. I thought it turned out cute. This was at the end of the day so it looked a little looser then it did at the beginning of the day.

New Hair do!

Here is another hair doe that I thought I would try. This one didn't stay in all day because her hair was a little to short and it came out of the rubber bands. I think it turned out pretty good though!

At the end of the day, we took her hair out and it was so funny. SO I took some pictures. The second one is the best. You can really see how crazy it was.
