My wedding dress!!!

Jaden pulled out our wedding video today for Kysa to watch and when it was over I thought it would be fun to see if my wedding dress still fit me. Why did I want to do this who knows. LOL! So I went and got my dress and noticed the whole bottom of the bag was black. So I went and showed it to Jaden and then he noticed it was wet!! So I hurried and took it out of the bag to find that the whole bottom of my dress was yellow and black! I was soooo upset. We luckily have a dry cleaners right next to our apartment, so I ran next door to see if they could fix the mess on my dress. While I am asking the lady about my dress I totally started to cry... I am such a baby. It was so upsetting to me though. I think I had a good reason to cry. The lady was so nice and told me everything could be fixed and it would look as good as new by thursday... I have my fingers crossed that it will look that good. The wall looks so bad too. I was really worried that it would have mold in it but luckily it doesn't. So its nothing a little magic eraser can't fix. LOL! I want to get out of these apartments so bad! We need a house!!

Alex's Homecoming

My cousin Alex just got home from his mission and we went to the airport to welcome him home. Britney, me and Mindy all made this banner together. Brit wrote all the letters and then we all colored them. It took FOREVER! I don't even know if Alex saw it. We put Bair on a separate piece of paper and taped it on so that we can use it when the boys come home in April!! Well here are some of the pictures from the airport and the lunch after.

My Aunt Linda and her son Alex. She was so excited!

His family came to welcome him home!
Kysa just waiting to go.
Kenzie just waiting around.

We all went and ate lunch at Macayos. It is always yummy. Kysa and Kenzie in there high chairs waiting for their food.

Some cute pictures from our trip.

I babysat for Mindy one day and Kenzie and Kysa played so well together. They had a lot of fun. Its fun that the girls are so close in age it gives them a good friend.

The girls sharing toys.
Kysa loves watching Beauty and the Beast. She gets so enthralled in it. LOL!

Our good friend Tim showing the girls a fun thing on his phone. They are loving it.

OUCH!!

Kysa and I went down to Vegas to help out my mom. She was having shoulder surgery and I wasn't going to be able to use her arm so she was going to need some help. Well the night before she went into surgery we were all having dinner and Mindy and I were making the girls some sandwiches since they wouldn't eat what we were having. Well Kysa had climbed up on one of the bar stools and it tipped over and she hit her head on the counter. I went over and picked her up and she had two long scratches where her head had hit the counter. Within seconds a HUGE bump appeared on her forehead. I had been upset about the whole thing but when I saw the huge bump form within seconds I started to cry just as hard as she was. I was so scared that she had a concussion. My dad called a family friend who is a paramedic to come over and take a look at it. Him and his son came over and took a look at her and said they were pretty sure she would be ok, just to keep a close watch on her. She turned out to be just fine but I sure didn't sleep good that night.

This was a little while after so the bump had gone down quite a bit.
The scratches didn't even bleed.
After talking to daddy on Skype she was a lot better.

Her new kitchen

We got this kitchen for Kysa for Christmas and she hasn't gotten to play with it until

Sunday night. We have been keeping it at Jaden's parents house because we don't have any room in our apartment. We brought the box home in hopes that soon we would be using it to pack up our stuff to move. Well Kysa saw the box and sat infront of it for like 5 minutes pointing at it and looking in the box. It made me feel so bad. So we went and got it from Jaden's parents house and the first thing she did this morning was go and play with it. She has been playing with it for 4 hours now. I think this was a good purchase. Kysa doesn't like all the food and dishes to be on the kitchen or in the right place. It totally drives me crazy because it makes a huge mess of my house and I like things to be in their proper place. It's driving me crazy. When she isn't looking though I try and put things away. They don't stay there long if she notices though.

This is it with all the stuff put away and in it's proper place.
This is the beginning of the un-organizing.

Talking on the phone and whisking the salt.

My Princess

Kysa make this cute little crown in nursery. I just thought that she looked so cute in it. It was really hard to keep it on her long enough to take these pictures but I was so glad I got them.

She doesn't look quite as happy here. I think she wanted to shoot me, look at her hands, she has a marshmallow gun. Yikes, look out!

Dress up with Alexis

The other night we went down to Britney and Jaron's house to have dinner and play some games. While Brit and I were making dinner the girls played a little dress up. They looked so cute. Alexis has some dress up shoes too that she got for Christmas so the girls really got ALL dressed up.

Kysa as Snow White, her hair is just a couple shades off. LOL!
Alexis as Cinderella.
Posing for a picture.
The Shoes. Alexis has got walking down, Kysa really needed some help.

1st time to the movies

My parents gave Kysa a little stroller, high chair and bed for her dolls. Well she put one doll in the high chair, one in the bed and then she got in the stroller. I guess she wanted a baby in all of them. LOL! She is too funny!
We took Kysa to the movies for the first time on the 30th to go see Tangled. She pretty much just sat there and watched the whole movie. She got a little wiggly toward the end but she was pretty good considering her age.

New additions to our tree this year

We have a tradition to get each other ornaments every year and these are some of the ones we got this year.

Jaden started a tradition this year to buy me a snowflake ornament each year. I love snowflakes so I was super excited about this tradition.
This was the one that Jaden got for me. I thought it was super cute.
I try and find ornaments that have something to do with that year, maybe something they did or accomplished or a big even. This whole last year Kysa has just been dancing up a storm. She just loves to dance. Any time that music comes on or a song at the end of movies starts she is up and movin around. Just so cute. So I just thought that this ornament was so fitting for her this year.
I got this one for Jaden because he made those baskets and won us $600! He made the 3 main ones so I thought that this one showed that. Even though the last basket ball the money ball the other 3 were important too. So 3 balls 3 baskets.
This little ornament was a surprise for us. We got home one night and there was a box wrapped. SO when I opened it this was inside. There was no card or name on it so we don't even know who it was from. So thanks to our secret friend!
This one was in hope that we would get the house we bid on before the end of the year. Well that didn't happen so we will have to regift this one next year.
My mom gave us this one for Christmas. I love it.
We have a tradition that if we travel anywhere we get an ornament from that place to remember that trip. So this one and the next one is from our trip to Louisiana.

This one is from our trip to California.

Christmas morning

McKenzie, Jacob, Austin, and Mindy all opening there Christmas presents. Mindy was such a stinker, she came with make up on and her hair all done, and the rest of us didn't even have make up on and we had yesterday hair. Yikes!
Alexis, Britney, Jaron, and Kaylee
We got to talk to both of the boys via Skype. We were so excited to see and talk to them. For some reason I didn't get a picture of Thomas. Sorry Thomas. It made Christmas just that much better.
Kysa opening a little christmas present, she looks a little raggamuffinish but it was early.
The tree with all the presents
