Pumpkins and costumes

The last few years we have gone over to Bill and Kerri's and carved our pumpkins so of course we had to continue with this trend. Last year Kysa wasn't really into it and she wasn't this year either. LOL! I cut the top off and thought that she would want to pull out the seeds and junk but she didn't want anything to do with it. I put her hand in it and she was not happy with me for doing it. So I just did her pumpkin and after it was all done she thought that it was pretty cool, especially when we put a candle in it and lit it up.

Jaden and I carving out our pumpkins.
The finished product. Jaden's is a spider (it kind of looks like a crab, LOL!), mine is kind of lame because it isn't even a face it's a moon, bat and stars. Kysa's was the only traditional one.
Kysa in her ballerina costume, I thought she looked super cute.
I took Kysa trick or treating at Kerri's work. Kysa liked it once she got what she was suppose to do. She really liked that she was getting a lot of candy, she ran from room to room getting all she could.
Kysa and I.

We went to Britney's house to go trick or treating on saturday because we had nowhere to take Kysa up here. When we got there it started to rain REALLY hard and then started to hail. We were a little worried that we weren't going to be able to take the girls out. Luckily by time we were done with dinner it had stopped. We took the girls around and it was pretty cold. I was glad that we had put warm pants under the girls costumes. We also put jackets on them so that made me a little sad because no one could really see their costumes. O'well they still looked cute.

Kysa in her warm pants, she is ready to go except her jacket. I think the girls had a good time. I think they also ate a little too much candy. LOL!

first snow!

Last night on my way home it started to snow, not enough to stick so I just thought that it was cool to have some flurries this early in the winter/fall (which one is it now?) Well this morning when I got up it seemed pretty dark so I looked out to see if it was cloudy and to my surprise there was a LOT of snow!! Here are some pictures of the front yard!

I am so surprised this branch didn't break under all the weight of the snow!
I'm not going to lie that I was pretty excited to see this.
I am also sad that is it already pretty much melted and it is only 2:45. =(

Another trip to Henderson

This last weekend I went to Henderson again with Britney and her girls and of course Kysa. Jaden went hunting and I didn't want to be home all alone for the whole weekend so Brit said she would go with me. We had a lot of fun down there. We did some crafts and of course a little shopping.

They just recently opened the new bridge by the Hoover Damn so we went to give it a look. It is crazy how far up it is. My dad took us over there since that is one of his favorite things to do. We left the girls with my mom and Austin came along too. We had a lot of fun. Thanks for taking us dad!
Mindy's birthday was the monday before we got there and my dad's birthday was Sunday. We went to dinner to celebrate and britney made this awesome snickers ice cream cake. It was delish! Happy 28th birthday to Mindy and Happy 55th birthday to dad!
Britney and Austin standing on the bridge.

Mindy and my dad getting ready to blow out their candles.
Britney had this swing out for baby Kaylee and I think Kysa must have thought that it looked comfy because she took a swing in it. LOL! I wish they made one in my size. LOL!

Craft 4 baby

I am now selling baby car seat covers. If anyone is interested feel free to take a look. They make great baby shower gifts or are just great for your baby. If you know anyone that may be interested please feel free to tell them. This is just something I am doing to bring in a little extra money for us. Thanks for looking and helping me out! craft4baby.blogspot.com

pumpkinland

The other day Britney invited Kysa and I to go with them to this place called Pumpkin land. So Kysa and I drove down there and walked through with the girls. Here are a couple fun pictures we took.

These were some pretty big pumpkins!

Kysa showing me some straw, cool stuff! LOL!
I am not sure what it is that Kysa is doing... maybe having Alexis sit back so she didn't fall off.
At the end the girls got a pumpkin. I think Kysa's was a little too heavy for her.
We found a smaller one for this picture.
Just to clear things up... Alexis' hair isn't all crazy on the side that is my daughters crazy hair. LOL!
I think she wanted to give him a hug. She has been known to hug random things. (Paper, wood, arms, you know the normal stuff. She is just very loving.)

Sea World

Tuesday was our last day of theme parks. We went to Sea World and Kysa loves looking at all the cool fish. Sometimes I don't think she knew what she was looking at and looked confused. It was a fun little day.

Going threw the shark tunnel thing.

These are some of the weirdest birds to me.
Kysa loving them.

Jaden helping Kysa to touch a star fish. You won't see the picture of me touching it because there is no way I would!

Kysa really liked the polar bears.

Checking out the whales
watching the penguins.
When we got home Kysa just played with Keegan and Lucas until we left to go to the hotel.

Disneyland!

Monday we went to Disneyland. I felt kind of bad because we left Kysa home with Kristen. It is kind of funny because we took her to Universal where there isn't a lot for kids and don't take her to disneyland where it is all for kids. But in the end I was kind of glad we didn't take her because the weather was pretty bad. It rained pretty much all day and was pretty cold. I would have just been so worried about her getting sick that it wouldn't have been fun. Surprisingly it was super packed. We thought that a rainy cold day would drive most people away but apparently most people thought that so they all came. Note to self... don't go when the weather is bad, it's more crowded.

Waiting in line for Thunder mountain.

This was the most exciting thing the whole day for me! We got to go and eat at the Blue Bayou. When you are on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride this is the restaurant you can see from it. We had the best table too. We could see all the people going by on the ride. It was so fun. It is a really expensive place to eat but the food is to die for! Especially the Monte Cristo! If you ever eat there, that is the thing to get!!

I am sure you can tell by the chair which ride we are on (Haunted Mansion)... It is all decked out for Halloween in the Nightmare before Christmas. Always a fun ride.

The Indiana Jones Ride. I got to drive. I am such a good driver. LOL!
In front of the castle.

Thats a cool pumpkin!
Keisha and I rode the big roller coaster without the guys because they were not up for the challenge. LOL!

Last ride of the day... Space Mountain, super fun and great ride to end the day on.
