New look

I finally got my blog to look cute like everyone else's. Thanks to Britney. I was so tired of the ugly background that I have had forever now. So tell me what you think. Jaden hasn't even seen it yet. I am kind of excited to see what he thinks. Anyways, I hope you like the new look!

fire and first picture

A couple weeks ago there was a huge fire by our house. We live in Draper and it was on Corner mountain, which is just west of where we are. The fires were only about 2 miles from our house. It was quite a sight to see. The smoke could be seen all the way to Ogden. It ended up burning over 800 acres.

Nothing to exciting has been going on besides that. I am slowly but surely getting over my morning sickness which is great news for me. I am almost past my first trimester. I am excited about it. On the 29th of August I had my first ultrasound. I was a little nervous because I wasn't sure what to expect, and I was scared of what they might see. To my husband and my relief the baby is growing at a normal pace and has all it's organs. My medication has a lot of side affects and a couple of them are the organs, the brain, and spinal cord not developing at all. Some of the others are cleft lip and the baby not growing, the one medication will stunt the growth of the baby while it is in the womb but after birth the baby would grow at a normal rate, which is good to know. The baby right now is 42 cm and it's suppose to be 44, so the baby is a little behind but the doctor said nothing to worry about. So I am hoping that the baby will continue to grow like normal.
It sounds like I have to get a lot of ultrasounds throughout my pregnancy. I have to get at least two more that I am aware of. I am getting one at 15 weeks and then another
at like 21 weeks. I think that the one at 15 weeks is to check for cleft lip. Our doctor told us that if the baby has a cleft lip it has had it since the face started developing. So if the baby does I am hoping that they will be able to help stop it or something. The one at 21 weeks is to find out the sex and make sure the baby is still growing at the pace it should be. Hopefully all continues to go well the whole pregnancy.
The one thing that the doctor did tell me though was that me having a seizure would be the worse thing that could happen. So we have to monitor that closer than ever. I have to make sure that I get enough sleep because the last two times that I haven't had a good nights sleep I had arm shakes. This is really scary for me. I am afraid that I may not be able to go through this again. This may be our one and only. We will see. Everyone says that you forget so I am hoping that that is what happens so we can have more than one kid. This has been really hard for me.
Jaden just went back to school and got a better job. I was so excited when he got offered the job. Since before we got married Jaden has been working nights. I have hated it. I hate being home alone but especially when I go to bed. So now that Jaden has this new job he works during the day and is at home at night. I already love this new job.
Right now I am staying down at my parents house. Jaden and I went down and stayed the weekend (29th-1st) up at my grandparents house in New Harmony. Then I went down with my parents to Henderson to stay until the 13th of September. I have really enjoyed spending time with my family. I hate living so far away from them. It really sticks. I am just hoping that soon my family will be able to move closer.

Our Good News!

Jaden is always getting on  me for not updating our blog. I am really not so good at it. So I did the job with Marie Osmand and it was super fun. I thought for sure that I was going to have a struggle because I have been a little sick lately. I was better for the show though which made me happy. I had loads of fun.

I was suppose to go to girls camp this past week but I have had morning sickness so bad that I would be more of a hinderance than a help. Oh ya! I am a little prego! And when I say Little I mean little. I haven't been able to hide it since I have been barfing my guts out. We wanted to keep it a secret a little longer but as you can tell that didn't really work so well. How do I hide throwing up, everyday all day? Jaden I think is more excited than I am sometimes. He is going to be the best dad ever! I am only about 2 months along. I get more excited everyday though. Anywho, since I didn't go to girls camp My in laws drove me down to where my parents were and I have been staying with my parents for a while. I go home Sunday with my cousin. I will have been here a week. I really needed this. I have been so sick and when it is the worst that is when Jaden would be at work. His schedule is going to make this a little
hard on me I am afraid. Anyways so that has been my life the past two weeks! Nothing too fun. Just a lot of being sick and wishing I was farther along so that this sickness would go away.

No Pictures and I need some advice!

I have been racking my brain and trying to figure out a way to put pictures on my blog**Think, think ,think!** but it just isn't working. I'll keep trying. SO as for right now you only get stories.**Sniffle**
So I have a lot to write about since it's been since keisha's wedding since I've written. In the middle of June I was asked to help with the Beehives slumber party. I was a little worried but it ended up going really good and I got to know the girls. We really had a good time. I am really loving being involved in YW it's super fun.
Jaden and I went camping with his cousin Weston and his wife Lindsay and their daughter swazye. It was so much fun. On friday we went horse back riding and totally got fried (Good job us!) and then went to the Salina's 4th of July parade. It was pretty fun. After that we got all our stuff together and went up to Salina Creek where we camped. We stayed up there until Sunday and it was so much fun. We road 4wheelers and played in the creek and just had a great time. I think that camping is probably my favorite thing to do. I would do it whenever offered the chance. Hence why I am assistant camp director for the YW. Camping is just my thing I guess.
Today Jaden and I went to the temple and it was so great. We haven't been in so long and it was so nice to go back. We were actually going to support my cousin Aaron who was suppose to be taking out his endowments but when we got there no one else was. We just did the session anyways and had a great time. I found out later that my cousin had gotten food poisioning the night before and had gotten really sick at like 3 in the morning. I felt pretty bad for him. That totally stinks. I hate being sick and especially when there is throwing up involved!**simpathy pains** Yucky!
Ok So I would like some imput on this situation that I found myself in tonight. So next weekend is the Scoble reunion and we have been planning it for a long time now. Jaden and I have been so excited to go and have a weekend to play with my family. Well this evening I got a call from one of the men at my work that is in charge of a lot of programs that go on at the conference center. He was offering me the position of a stage manager for the Osmand show this coming weekend which would be the same weekend as my reunion. This is a big oppurtunity because first of all I would be making quite a bit of money, second if I take this job they would ask me to do it again (if I turn it down I would never have this oppurtunity again.) and I get to work with Marie Osmand and pretty much be her puppy or maid. This is a really good thing for me BUT I would be missing my family reunion. So that is my problem I am dealing with.
If Jaden and I didn't need the money so bad and if this was an all the time offer I wouldn't have to think twice about it, but its not. I need this for so many reasons. I don't want my family to feel like I am bailing on them for money because I am totally not. This is for my family. Family comes first right? I took the job... was I wrong for doing that? I would really love some imput on this. I want to feel better about what I have chosen to do. Jaden, Both my parents, Kerri (Jaden's mom), and Tyler (you rock little bro!) all said that I should take the job. I feel like it was the right thing, but was it really?
Tomorrow my cousin Benj is getting married and Britney and I are going to his reception down in Provo. I am going to stay the night at Brit's after and I am pretty excited about it. I love seeing my little neice Lexi!**Yippy**
Sunday is my nephew Austin's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAWBEE! I can't believe how fast time flies by. It seems like he was just born yesterday. Man I love that kid! So anyways that is what has been going on in the life of Stacy and Jaden. We're boring I know.**snicker**

Not my fault!

Ok, I know that I haven't updated lately but it really isn't my fault. I haven't had any access to the internet for like ever! And not only that but I have been really busy this month! First of the month I flew down to Vegas, for Thomas and Tyler's graduation. Then Flew back home and it was crazy back home because there was a ton that had to be done before Keisha's big day (Jaden's older sister). Then the wedding, then we had to go down to Salina for the Shaw reunion. As soon as we got back from that Jaden's sister Kristen and her two boys came to stay with us. And that my friends leads us to today! So see, not only did I have no way of getting on the internet but I also was crazy busy! So now that I have rambled on about what life has been like for a while I will go into more detail. If you are bored now... stop reading... it's probably going to get worse! Heehee!

Ok the boys graduation. One of the saddest days! I have some to the sad reality that my little brothers are no more kids but young men! I so badly don't want them to grow up. I can't believe how fast life goes by. It seems like just yesterday that my little brothers were, well... little. Ha ha! I am so not looking forward to the day that they go on their missions. It is so close. It will kill me to have them leave. **Holding back tears** It is so funny because when I went on my mission I didn't understand why everyone was all sad and worried about me going on a mission. I just thought that they were all a bunch of weirdies.  I now understand. I am so scared to let my little brothers go in fear of what might happen to them. I know what goes on in a mission, I know what dangers are out there. I almost feel like there are more for guys than for girls. I always felt like everyone was watching out for us, and I always thought that the guys were just plain out hated. I am scared to let them leave to a place I don't know. :*(
Ok, now the wedding. It was a beautiful wedding! Keisha was just glowing and was gorgeous. It was a very long day but full of fun. Keisha is so random and so was her wedding. Her husband walked out to the Star Wars theme song and she walk down to the Monday night football song.**Laughing out loud**  Now if that isn't just plain out funny I don't know what is. At the reception they had a photo booth. Jaden and I did the photo booth 3 times. Loads of fun and some pretty funny pictures too. Keisha's husband Brandon rented a ferrari for their getaway car. No way anyone was decorating that car! Brandon is so funny! He rented a shelby mustang for our getaway car and a Ferrari for his. Funny guys and generous.
The Shaw reunion... one word... Boring. We were so bored while we were there. So when it was ok to leave we booked it out of there and went and had some fun on a seado. It was a blast. Of course I didn't bring a swim suite with me so me and Lindsay (Jaden's cousins wife) went shopping. I found a $8 swim suite in the little girls department. **Gloating**  I am not going to lie that made me feel pretty darn good! Jaden also let me buy two pairs of pretty sweet pants. I was stoked!
As soon as we got back from Salina on Sunday I came right home and made dinner for Jaden's parents and his sister and her kids. We went to his parents house finished up dinner and then went back to our house to get Kristen, Lucas, and Keegan all situated at out house. Her kids are wild! But I love them. They may be wild but they are loads of fun!
Today I got up, made waffles, cleaned up and came over to Jaden's parents house until I had to go to my doctors appointmen at 3. I was a little bit nervous about going to the doctor, BUT in the end it ended up being a great appointment. I found out that I am ok to have kids now. We can have them when ever we want. I am so excited. Of course Jaden told me not to get my hopes all up because he wants to wait until at least May to start trying. What a stick in the mud! I think that that is probably a good idea for us. **Sighing** Just given us some time for us before we become parents. So anyways... today was a good day! **Smiling**

Hawaii and my birthday

Hawaii was a blast! We did a lot of snorkling and shopping and eating! There was only one thing that I didn't like so much in Hawaii, it was crazy windy! Other than that it was great. We got to go on a boat that took us snorkling and fed us (that's always a good thing). We got to see a lot of beautiful fish and coral, we even saw a sea turtle. We didn't get really tan but that's because we loaded on the sunblock. I really didn't want a sunburn to ruin my fun.
The sights that we went and saw were lots of fun. We saw the black beach, and some lava tunnels. The lava was pretty cool, I wish we could have seen an erupting valcano but that didn't happen. We saw tons of waterfalls and beautiful green fullage everywhere. The locals were pretty fun to look at too. They all looked like bumbs and were all smoking Maui wowee. We saw some blowholes, and of course the ocean.
Now the food was delicious! We ate 3 times at a place called BJ's pizza...one word... Heaven. It was the best pizza I have ever had in my life. If I ever return that will be my first stop! The pineapples were to die for. Jaden is alergic to them so he can't eat them but he tried them there and they didn't bother him at all and he loved them. I think I gained a little weight over there. I ate too much pizza!
So I am now 25! Ouch! I feel so old! Half way to 50 as Tyler would say (thanks a lot little brother). For my birthday we went snorkling and walked front street and at my request went to BJ's pizza just to get their Pazzookies! Lisious! So my birthday was pretty good.
The trip went fast but we had a lot of fun. We took a ton of pictures and I am super excited to scrapbook it all.
The picture is my birthday pazzookie!

Mothers day in Hawaii

For mothers day I had the opprtunity to be with my mom in Hawaii. It was a fun day but I am wondering weather or not she thought it was fun. My dad and Jaden planned to drive the road to Hana, or the Hana highway. My mom and I both get car sick really easy so we were both a little not as excited as we should have been, but my dad went and bought some ginger pills for us and we didn't get sick at all. It made the trip fun. We got to see beautiful waterfalls and the black beach! I was so excited!

My mom is the best out there. She means more to me than anything. She is so loving and caring and would do anything for any of her kids or anyone else for that matter. She bought a million things for people at home on the trip and nothing for herself. She is the kind of person who would never say a bad thing about anyone and would never say anything for cause waves or hurt someone feelings. She is the kind of mom that I hope that I can be some day for my kids. She has taught me everything I know. She is the person that I look up to most. she is a hero, she is MY hero.
There are things that my mom has done for me that I will never forget. When ever I have been sick and that was a lot she ALWAYS stayed with me. She would sleep on the couch or stay up with me as long as she had to. Whenever I had a seizure she was there. She was the one to comfort me when I really needed someone. When I was going through depression she was always there to make me feel better and tell me it would be ok and that she was there for me. She is the greatest mom and I love her more than words can say. Happy mothers day mom, I love you!

Not much to report

Since we don't have kids I feel like there isn't much to report. We have pretty boring lives. We work and Jaden goes to school and thats about it. Jaden is the best man, he works two jobs and goes to school. What would I do without him? This past week Jaden's dad had surgery and he is healing very slowly. He was hoping to be good in like 3 days and he is still not back to himself. He is improving though.
Jaden's family is really into basketball so all these big games with the Jazz are really exciting for them. My family isn't really into sports so this is all really new to me. I really don't know anything about basketball and his family is determined to make me a basketball fan. I have gotten to a point that I know a lot of the Jazz players and I understand what is going on. I am not going to lie I am really enjoying it all. I am just as excited to watch their games as Jaden's family is.
Today was kind of a crappy day. Jaden came to my work and brought me lunch from Subway. After we ate we started working and while we were working we both started to feel pretty sick. I am pretty sure that we both got a little food poisoning. Jaden still went to work even though he felt sick. He is a trooper.
Jaden and I are getting really excited about going to Hawaii. Jaden has told me a lot lately that he is past due for a vacation. He is done with School on the first and he is really excited to be out for the summer.
I am afraid that is all for us lately. Until something fun happens to us it will be a while. Until then...

Girls camp!

So tonight there was a girls camp thing to let all the girls know what we are doing and some of the things that need to be done before we leave. We are learning a song that was written by one of the beehives, it is an amazing song. what a talent this little girl has. she wrote the words and the music, what a talent! Tonight was also the first time that I met most of the girls. They are so sweet and I am going to love my new calling. We had to take these pictures tonight for camp and they made us dress up like pirates. It was so funny to see all the leaders dress up. I was not to excited to do it. I am a little scared what they are going to use those pictures for. I know I look pretty stupid in some of them. Oh boy!
Tomorrow night I am going with Lisa my visiting teacher to her daughters play. It is at the Draper theater and that is right next door to me, who knew, I didn't. Ha Ha! Oh ya Lisa's daughter is the talented one who wrote the song for camp. So I am looking forward to tomorrow. On saturday I am going to a wedding for a girl that was in my mission. I am so excited! I haven't seen her since I left the mission. It is going to be great!
The only other cool thing that has happened that was super awsome was that Jaden and I got to go in the church administration building, which is where the 12 and the first presidency have their offices. We got to see where they practice their talks and all their offices. It was great. Unfortunately we didn't see any of them. That is ok though, I just saw all of them the other day in the tunnels that run past the temple. I am lucky to see them about every week. I love my job!

All the good stuff!

This week has been pretty darn good, if I do say so myself. Wednseday I went to my inlaws house to do some scrapbooking. While I was at their house I checked my facebook really fast because I had like a million emails saying this person wants this, they wrote on your wall, you know that stuff. So I was reading something that was written on my wall. It was written from a lady from my mission and she said that her daughter, who I absolutely love, was coming into town. She gave me her number and told me to call her and see if we could catch up with each other. I was so excited so I hurried and called her right then. Codey answered the phone and as soon as I said hi she knew it was me. She thought that I still lived in Vegas and was going to make a trip down there just to see me. Well I broke the good news to her that I was up here. Then we were both excited, so we planned a time that we could get together and catch up. I am SO stoked to see her. We decided to hang out on saturday. We'll watch the second session of conference together and just hang out the rest of the day.
Oh ya, on Tuesday I had a meeting with a member of the bishopbric and I was so excited about it because they wanted to give me a calling. I already teach the 17 year olds in sunday school so was really hoping that it had something to do with young womans. So I went in and the second councilor took me in a room and asked me if I would be the assistant camp director for the young women. I was SO SO excited, that is the calling I have wanted forever.
Ok now back in order, on Thursday I had a meeting for all the camp stuff. It was so much fun. I now get to go to young womens every sunday and all the activities. While I was there I got another calling from the president, she wants me to be the sports corrdinator for the young women. That one really scares me since I am not real good at any sport. I figure if the Lord called me to it there is a reason. Maybe it's just to get me off my lazy butt. Girls camp is going to be up in Heber and we get to stay in cabins and out theme is western pirates. So it is cowgirl meets pirate. That will be funny looking.
And Friday! Tonight I am going out with my visiting teachers and we are going to go to a movie and and out to dinner. I am so looking forward to it. I can't remember the last time that I went and hung out with just some girl friends. I actually feel like I have a friend now. I love it. WOW! I have to go. I am leaving in an hour. This has been a good week!
